Or what about women who have my situation.

I retained placental tissue for 5 weeks so my body thought I was still pregnant and I went into labor again at that point. I didn't know why my milk barely came in, I tried feeding and expressing but could never get much and DD was never full. The day I quit I completely dried up, no pain at all. I never became engorged or anything.

There are still women who decide not to breastfeed, I saw it all the time when I had my OB clinicals. It is their choice their body their child. As long as the child is getting fed than who cares.

Bc I feel formula is harmful to children and should only be used as a last resort, when medically necessary. I also, believe that milk banks should pay do donations.

No one should have the right to say whether the child bfs or gets formula besides the parents. Not even doctors.

Then you would get a prescription right? I had to get a prescription for my daughter when she couldnt breastfeed anymore.

I FF and I agree. If this would've been the case I would've tried harder to breastfeed. I kick myself in the ass EVERY DAY for not f**king breast feeding.

So instead of just going to the store and picking up a 97 cent bottle and a $14 dollar can of formula I would have to pay $300 to take my kid to the dr to get a script to buy a bottle and formula?

idk why people feel it'd be better to force someone to breastfeed :?

matter of fact as long as the baby is fed and thriving I don't see why people care. worry about your own children.

Your child is healthy and alive, you shouldn't feel guilty for feeding her.

Just because its a prescription does not mean its going to 300.00 lol. And they make 14 dollar cans of formula?

Parents should do anything they want to do. Its stupid to ban them.

Yes, you have to suffer because you can't/don't want to breastfeed.

Maybe it should be more expensive. Hopefully, insurance would cover it.
