I wasn't arguing that, I do agree. I can't seem to say what I mean clearly, sorry. I anticipated some people saying it wasn't as bad as being trapped with a kid. For those people, would they then agree it was equally as bad if the law didn't require support for the child, making it so money was no issue in either situation.

Anyone who would to either is, frankly, a horrible person to deceive another person like that.

I don't agree with him pressuring her for more children if that's not what she wanted but that should have been established between them before they had their 1st. Maybe when it comes out into the open she can get her tubal reversed or at least consider it

She even said he wasn't pressuring her. She didn't want to 'hurt his feelings or cause an argument' about it. She was pretty go with the flow whenever he brought it up. If I was him and found out, the only thing I would be 'reversing' would be my marital status.

That's not always fair though. Some men promise to be there for the child then when it's born, they skip out. Plus a lot of men would be doing that if possible.

I still don't see it as wrong. Better to have an absent father than a shitty one who doesn't want to be there.

He should be having to financially help though, IMO.

I don't think he should be forced to financially help. If he wants to terminate all rights and be done, so be it. The kid is probably better off. Same if a woman wants to do it and give the kid to their dad. But, most don't... and just pay child support and get visitations. If the parent truly doesn't want any part of the kids life... they shouldn't be forced to physically, financially, or emotionally support the kid. Though, I do find it sad when parents do that.

As I respect your opinion, I do not agree and I'm glad it isn't that easy for them to just sign off their kid like that.

And they make the mother pay child support.

I am pretty sure she is referencing the mother having an abortion without the fathers knowledge or consent.

Well if the bio dad has full custody, then he could go after the mother for CS just like a mother can with the father.

If the child is put up for adoption, the father has to agree and then both are let off the hook.

I know that they're not treated equally, but that's just the way it is.

Women shouldn't have to chose between getting rid of their kid or not having any help from the father whatsoever. Its a touchy subject.

Oh, got it. Sorry for the misinterpretation and assumption. But I agree with ya. I don't understand how some women expect double standards on some issues, like these, but still scream for equal rights on other issues.
