Well if the bio dad has full custody, then he could go after the mother for CS just like a mother can with the father.

If the child is put up for adoption, the father has to agree and then both are let off the hook.

No, I was referencing women putting their children up for adopting. They are, essentially, saying that they do not want to parent so they give up all rights and responsibility. But when a guy wants that, apparently, mjs mommy thinks it shouldn't be allowed and they should be forced to pay for a child they want nothing to do with. Ah double standards.

Yes because all mothers give their kid up to the dad. You're missing the point and I'm not surprised. No one should be forced to take care of a child they do not want. Men. Women. Dinosaurs. It's all wrong. You're in denial or living under a rock if you think women and men are treated equally when it comes to that.

I know that they're not treated equally, but that's just the way it is.

Women shouldn't have to chose between getting rid of their kid or not having any help from the father whatsoever. Its a touchy subject.

Oh, got it. Sorry for the misinterpretation and assumption. But I agree with ya. I don't understand how some women expect double standards on some issues, like these, but still scream for equal rights on other issues.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with what you said.

"Women shouldn't have to chose between getting rid of their kid or not having any help from the father whatsoever. Its a touchy subject."

I said they don't. Women have the choice to parent, abort or adopt out. Men just have to deal with whatever choice the woman makes. THAT was my point. Idk what the hell you're talking about.

Good lord.

You said that you think men should have the option to sign their rights away. Then I said that a women shouldn't have to choose in between getting rid of their kid (abortion/adoption) or not having any support from the father at all.

No, that's not what I said. Keep up. I said that men shouldn't have to be financially responsible for a child they want nothing to do with. Signing rights away and financial responsibility are two different subjects dear.

What the f**k? That is really fucked up. I hope he divorces her when she finds out once they go to the doctor and he tells them they don't need fertility treatments but they need her to untie her tubes.

I also think it's ridiculous that people get "tapped' into having a kid. It's not that hard. It takes two to make a baby. If you don't want one, stop being stupid and get on birth control/ask him to wrap it and guys, stop believe her & wrap yourself.

This chicks a bit of a nut isn't she? Lol going with the flow & not wanting to hurt someones feelings wouldn't make me feel obligated to have a child with them

To a degree I agree about the last part, but I do believe in cases like my DH with his ex wife if two people are married and/or supposedly committed to each other they should be able to fully trust the other on issues like this.

I hope when he finds out he is still around for their DD. He seems like he would be, I hope he doesn't take it out on her by leaving.

A bit is putting it mildly. She would have to have something wrong to have that kind of attitude towards the man she is supposed to love. Not to mention telling others, like her neighbor, myself, and who knows who else.

She sounds like she needs to be mentally evaluated. I wouldn't think it would be safe for her to have custody of her DD with the way she handles things & thinks. It just doesn't seem healthy
