Would you say something? BakingBean2 2 kids; Ohio 2247 posts20th Jun
So, DH was talking to our neighbor yesterday. He is a mechanic and our neighbor always has questions. Our neighbors daughter and her two youngest live with him. Her daughter is about 18 mos, because our kids have played together. Anywho DH noticed that her carseat is so terribly wrong. Like it's supposed to be a five point harness and they just put her in it and put a seatbelt over it. (Make sense?) like they dot buckle her into the carseat at all. When he gave me a funny look and I went over to look, it didn't look like there were even straps on it. I don't want to make things awkward because we see her a lot being she's our neighbor, but I get the feeling she is just generally uniformed. I just don't want to make things awkward but don't want to feel guilt for not saying something if they get in a crash. DH doesn't want me to say anything.

I would say something. The AAP released new guidelines recently, bring that up in conversation and go from there

I would say something. Maybe start it off by saying, "I noticed this and I'm only saying something so you don't get in trouble..."

I would say something along the lines of her being at serious risk for being pulled over and ticketed. More like you're trying to save her money and keep her from getting in trouble
