Has anyone had a VBAC with their second pregnancy? I really hated my cesarean section. I dread going through that again. What are the risks associated with a VBAC?

I had a VBA2C this time around. It's called a TOLAC (trial of labor after c/s) actually, the VBAC is the anticipated end result :)

I had a successful vbac with my second and agian with my third (since it will be forever be a vbac). The only added risk is possible uterine rupture, which is less than 1%. It's worth researching, I loved my vbac so much.

As far as risks, there are risks with both another c/s and with the VBAC. Why did you have the c/s the 1st time? Does your hospital allow TOLAC? My hospital with #2 didn't but the hospital I went to for #3 did.

I had placenta complications with DD so they had to get her out ASAP and my cervix would not dilate.

True, there are a lot of risks associated with having yet another csection, especially so soon.

All of the hospitals in Cincinnati allow VBACs according to the cesarean awareness website.
