I don't blame you for not wanting to leave LO with people you don't know. DD is 11 months old and I still won't leave her with anyone but close friends and family. If you absolutely cannot find a sitter you need to call your manager and explain it to them. If you told them you couldn't work Saturdays when they hired you they need to respect your schedule. If you didn't tell them though you need to suck it up and go in. When your looking for a new job make sure you disclose your full availability before they even hire you even if you think it may hurt your chances at the job.

Is it possible to show up with baby?
In a bind, I've had my baby's sitter drop her off toward the of the day when she had a doc appointment and I couldn't just leave work early.
I have an office job, so there was always people at work loving to watch my baby between clients. Not ideal, but I didn't have a choice. I figured if my boss had a problem with it then she'd be forced to let me go home early LOL Win-win :)

If OP is working Saturdays, its probably not a desk job.
