I'm sorry :(
Even though M was in the country when I had our son, he was two hours away in predeployment training. I gave birth alone. It sucked.

Ya I'm already gonna loose it cuz my family won't be there. And this is his first baby. I'm just a over tired wreck right now in the middle of an anxiety attack :(

Id rather be in tx with fam for the birth then alone.. But my only friend in ak was moving and getting a divorced ane needed help moving back to tx and my nephew was diagnosed for cancer so I came home for summer. I don't go back til aug 6. Then ntc starts sept... She comes oct 6 and then we were supposed to come home for turkey day and christmas :/. Then he deploys and I'll be coming back to tx again. Its a huge mess and I have no idea what to do or anything.

Get a doula! They are there to help you in your birthing experience. My friend is actually becoming one in FL. I wish I had one for my births cause DH rather play video games on his phone and watch Netflix in the corner. And I truly believe this last time around if I had one, I would have been able to stick to not wanting an epidural. You don't need to go through birth alone and a doula is a great person to have, even though you don't have a personal relationship with them, birth is a passion of theirs and they want to help you through it.

Can you go and stay with your family during that period and just give birth to a hospital there?

Damn that's tough. Dh is allowed to go to most appointments with me
and if the kids get sick enough to go to the hospital they let him drop whatever he is doing to come be with us and call to make sure everything is ok and we don't need anything. I always thought army was the least family friendly or that's what I was alwyas told. Maybe we have just gotten lucky with these two units.

Nope Navy sea duty is the worst, I hear things like this on a daily basis. It's not just our ship. My friend is engaged to a Captain in the Army and even she's blown away to what I tell her.

I could but plane tickets are outrageous. And if he's not gone I want him there. And I flu back home at 31 weeks. So basically time where I can't travel. And had we known all this was gonna happen I probably woulda states in ak to spend time with him.

Must be different. My husband got sent home from training in another state for our second child.

I'd still look around if you could get in touch with a support page for your area for the base or such. At least for here we have a very strong presence of "crunchy" mamas and a lot of them are aspiring doulas who charge very little or nothing at all.

Feel free to PT or PM me if you need some support since we're pretty much in the same area. We live in NP :)
