back story long DD#1 Sicily's father use to act like he wanted to see her and be in her life. He would tell all his friends how I keep her from him but fact is I never said no to him. When he wanted to meet up I met up she would see him for 15 mins then he would leave. he did that every 3 months. july he met up with us at mcdonalds and he told me he got married and they are expecting a boy and that they are moving to new Hampshire. August they moved and after that It was a year till I heard from them again. Krissy(his wife) messaged me on fb saying how they are getting a divorce and that she has got the ok from the judge to come home to Oklahoma with her son in dec. well when that happened kyle followed and asked to see sicily and I said no bcz he didn't call to talk to her or ask about her, nothing. he posted as his status saying I tried and im done and a previous post saying how he misses his daughter so much and wants to see her. Well he got his chance cause we got invited to romans 1st birthday and we were there for 4 hours and during that time sicily tried talking to kyle he either got up and walked away or gave her the cold shoulder, then she tried playing toys with him and every toy she gave him he would throw on the floor when she turned her back. that was the last straw him and his family keep doing this to her, kyle is in and out and doesn't care I know for a fact now since he told krissy he would be happy to sign his rights away and his family they will say there going come see sicily or we meet up with them somewhere and they never show I will txt them but they don't txt back so screw it.
DD#2 Adeline bio dad is friends with my brother and brothers bestfriend martin and they said steve told them he wants nothing to do with adeline he had his own to care for. He doesn't want to know her at all and I was told he doesn't want her to know anything about him. But ill still tell her one day.

if that didn't make sense sorry im really tired but this was brought to my attention and was on my mind for awhile

so my question is how do I go about having them sign over their rights?
I was told by a friend I can just type it out and have them sign that but that doesn't seem to be legit.

you usually can't unless there is someone who wants to adopt them. They can't just leave the child without a legal father.

you have to go to court and they have to agree to it but even if they agree it can be a while before the judge grants it they don't like to strip parents rights so they make you jump threw hoops.

Yes they can my first child has no legal father his rights where stripped because he was an unfit loser who liked to do and sell drugs instead of take care of his kids prior to my child he gave up his rights to his first and had them taken away from his second. They do it all the time.

They do because they don't like to strip any parent of their rights but if you get a good lawyer and they are willing the can make it happen just might take a few months. The only way it goes through fast is if they have had their rights taken away prior like in my case it only took a month because he had it done twice before my son.

Some states are more willing than other and typically they only allow it if the single parent can show they are financially able to support the child w/o help from the other parent or the government.

Typically for a child to be adopted by the parent's SO they need to be married a min of 1yr.

Jail doesn't really help unless they are in jail at the present time and will be in longer then 6 years. For the drugs you need proof otherwise it will be dismissed.

Let your lawyer know and they can pull their records. Mine was easy to do because my x had his home raided and was all over the news from them busting him and going to jail as well as having his records pulled from prior jail time or protection from abuse orders.
