Quoting afantastic (37wks):" I have several tattoos, I'm not a fan of neck tattoos. My only reasoning is that it seems like a fashion ... [snip!] ... everyone got the "tramp stamp" tattoo. I love tattoos, but try to avoide anything that is too trendy. That's my advice :-)"
It's trendy? damn... I never know what's trendy. lmfao.
I don't have a tramp stamp! Just my ribs and a hip tattoo, I had a chest tattoo planned out but the artist and I didn't have the same vision. Lol.
Quoting Samibee:" I think it depends on what it is and how big or small the tattoo is."
Chris has a hugish flaming cross on his neck. I think its stupid looking but then again  lmao.

My sister, who is 25, and several of her friends all have over the past year gotten behind the ear tattoos. I also work in an industry with a lot of tattoo'd folks, and, it's a fairly popular female thing to do right now. Maybe ask your tattoo artist a location they would suggest? I've done that a few times and LOVED what they suggested.
Actually just remembered that my boyfriends sister has a behind the ear tattoo also. She is 21.
I do like that picture you pulled up. The location just makes me think of something that will be displayed later as a "phase." I'm a fan of timeless tattoos. It's hard to know when you've achieved that, but in culture now it's fairly easy to point out one that is not timeless.
