Quoting ~Milk*Jugs~:" My girls are 21m apart, and this one will be 17m younger than the baby and just over 3 years from my ... [snip!] ... to each other sometimes they are total brats to each other. I never had a sister so I'm curious to how they will be as teens."

Probably very "follow the leader".. I don't think I have ever pulled my head out of my sisters ass...
I find it to be true so far for my two girls. lol

My girls are 19 moths apart. They are the best of friends right now. They are total opposites though they older one is very tom boyish and the younger one is really girly. It so cute to see them together.

My girls are 18 months apart. They fight a lot but they are also best friend's. They can pick on each other but I feel sorry for anyone else who tries it, lol. They are 5 and 4, btw.

I have the same fears, i myself grew up an only child so i knew when i started my own family that i wanted at least 2...it just so happens my husband has a 9 year old daughter, and we are about to give birth any day now to our own daughter....my step daughter seems happy for the most part, but she has been use to having all of daddies attention until now, so im getting a little worried about how she is going to be between that and there will be 9 years between them...her biological mother passed away from cancer when she was around 4 years old, so this poor little girl has been thru a lot in her little life already, and i want to make sure shes happy. Her and I have become very close this last year so i dont want her to think that will change when baby arrives either....my hopes is the 2 girls will become very close, family will always be your family, everyone else comes and goes in life...

My girls are 21 months apart . They got along great up till the last year or two now they fight like crazy and tolerate each other be because they really don't have much of a choice. There complete opposites as far as personalities go and my oldest who turned five in feb is going through a bossy stage so I'm sure those factors play into it. I'm so happy I have my son ( he's 16 months) to break up the girl drama .

i have a 9 year old step daughter, and i am almost 39 weeks pregnant with my first child, which is a girl! i am very close to my step daughter, she doesnt live with us as of yet, but she will be after next school year, and her biological mother passed away when she was around 4 yrs old from cancer. so this lil girl has been thru a lot already in her short life. She goes back and forth being excited about new baby and being a big sister, i worry a lot once baby arrives how she will handle the adjustment, especially with her not living with her daddy and i yet.
