I did read thoroughly, but I just can't believe how upset you were over this. Also, before you say it, yes it has happened to me maaaany times because people here cannot.park.to.save.their.lives.

If there was someone else on the other side when she parked there then she shouldn't have parked in it imo. The person shouldn't use that space if they're going to block someone else in. At least she was there to move her car but I do agree that saying move your freaking car isn't the best way to deal with the situation lol.

Please what? Is that outlandish to you that not everyone has a toddler proportion melt down over how someone is parked?

LOL

OP: For all you know, there was someone over parked on the other side of her... if it were as busy as you said maybe she had no choice but to park there. We've had to park badly before because someone else did and there was no where else to park.

No. I admitted I was irrational, how much more do you want to beat a dead horse?

OP that's not double parking. Its parking like a jackass but its not double parking.

Regardless, people do this shit all the time. Put your kid in the car from the opposite side and move on about your day. I've had a few times where I had to crawl across the car to get in since people don't know how to park out here. Is it frustrating and annoying, yeah. But its not worth a freak out.

Park in the back of lot and its guaranteed to happen less and less lol

Putting my child in my vehicle was not a problem. Getting out of the parking spot, however, was.

I have suicide doors on my car (no idea why they are called that but that 's besides the point).
ex: doors1.JPG

I use to have the HARDEST time getting my son into the car when he was in an infant carrier.
He could only go in the back of the passenger side so if someone was a jackass and parked too close to me, I would have to open one door, carry the carrier over my head and onto the roof of my car, open the other door, take him off the roof and then into the car. It was ridiculous! I would always try and park far a way but some jerk always managed to park just too close.

I get annoyed now anytime I see someone park horribly. Just reminds me of all the trouble I use to have.
