Quoting Mrs. Daniel:" Oh ya and put your mattress on the floor. Duh. I don't know why I forgot that one."

My mattress has never had a frame bc im cheap and think its a waste of wood lol but do you mean like take it off the box spring?

I'm lucky..my husband loves co sleeping lol he is an ass though, if he hears our oldest stirring(we still use a monitor for him, he is SN) he will go get him and then I'm surrounded by children and I can't move! I just get up and calm him down and put him back to bed.

I think side carring will help transition this one to his bed sooner. I'm going to get him new bedding and move him across the room on his birthday..then, its time for a big kid room.

Yep. I'm pretty sure it won't effect your comfort.

Ive had to put mine in the crib as he is too active in the middle of the night and although I sleep light im scared one day I wont wake enough. I loved co sleeping but safer for him to be in his cot (in my case)
As it happens we are both sleeping better now anyway.
