It looks like a myxoid cyst, and it's in the perfect location to be one. I'm not sure I'd let them remove it... I would see if they would just puncture it to see if it's jelly-like on the inside. If so, you have your answer.

My son was in the hospital for 3 months after he was born because he had gastroschisis. I was so scared when he had to be put under for his surgery to close his stomach. It was a hour long surgery but my baby was still being put under. People would say things like be glad he isn't dying of cancer or this can be fixed. I don't know why everyone thought this was appropriate. I'm sure she gets that other kids have it worse than hers but does that make her any less scared about her child... NO! She has a right to vent.
