Just think of it as helping your kids. Without that situation you would be homeless. So play pretend.

I was going to suggest you at least give this a try on your thread from yesterday. It's worth a shot so you all have a safe place to live. And as long as you can both respect eachother and each others privacy it may work.. for a little while at least. You can look for alternatives in your spare time but help with the kids and a stable roof over all of your heads is a good thing. GL on whatever you do. Try not to base major decisions on emotion but rather thought and logic.

You should never want to make it work for the kids all because you dont want to uproot them. If you want to make it work for yourself, nevermind the kids, then try to make it work. Never use the kids.

Hopefully you won't have to do this for long but just act normal. You don't have to be overly affectionate or anything. Just don't fight around your kids

Exactly. Besides kids are best in a healthy environment, with people that get along and are happy.

Tell him to leave.

It will be a lot easier for one man to find an apartment vs. you and two children.

Why do you have to be the one to save up money and leave? Is his name the only one on the lease or something?

I didn't take it as "making it work: meant as a couple back together. It was making the situation work for everyone involved right? With 2 young ones and another on the way i'm sure you can find ways to busy yourself so you aren't looking at him.. And when they go to bed YOU go to bed and get some rest... Lord knows you won't be getting any soon enough with a new LO! You can do it, or at least try.
