Cetaphyl (sp?) lotion on the head over night or mayo

If you can put everything in the dryer on HIGH heat for no less than a half an hour (stuffed animals included) otherwise bag them air tight.

Vacuum every chance you get too. Even the mattress if she sleeps in a normal bed. Lice can live off a host for 24hrs.

:!: You'll need to treat the house. They'll keep coming back if eggs are in your house (carpets, blankets, stuffed animals, etc...)

Quoting Nancy G :):" I've took her out the day care already and let them know that she got this! It's soo horrible to Me more because she's 11 months old , I understand a older kid, toddlers but she's still an infant."

I flipped out when my daughter came home with it. I seriously had a panic attack. Turns out I was TO clean with her. Lice love a clean head. So now she isnt allowed to wash her hair everyday. I never want to deal with this again. Once this is all taken care of make sure you use tea tree oil daily. Mix it in a water bottle and spray her head. It will keep them away.

You don't necessarily have to remove your child from the day care permanently though. Just make sure that they've treated the daycare and notified parents so they can treat their LO's

Walmart has it, but its not just the pure oil. Its mixed with other oils so its not as strong. I buy mine at the health food store. Its like $6 for a bottle, It lasts a LONG time. It has to be pure tea tree for it to truly work.

:!:This too, But honeslty I think its more cost affective to get a bottle at the health food store and mix it with your shampoo. I remember looking at the tea tree shampoo and it was expensive.
