Breastfeeding Mommies, I need some help! inked_up_mommy Due December 24 (boy); 19 kids; 1 angel baby; Garwood, New Jersey 129 posts

I am currently pregnant (4th child) and I have had all c-sections. With all the medications I was on after I had my kids, I never got to experience breastfeeding. It's been bothering me for quite some time now and I want to try and see if I can figure something out this time around. I definitely don't want anything in my system going to my baby after he/she is born if it isn't safe. Any mommies who have had c-sections know what they say about pain meds and breastfeeding? I already have a feeling it probably isn't a good idea.... I also have a blood clotting disorder so I am on blood thinners. The stuff I'm on now is safe for pregnancy... Not sure if that would change post-partum. Any advice?

This! And I took the minimum (half what they were offering) amount of pain relief. I hate pills anyway. Good luck :)
