Looks like Kitkat cake wins by a landslide! I'll be trying it. Probably will make the cheesecake bars too, that way no one gets shafted out of dessert if we have more people turn up!

If it's for the kids I would do the cupcakes.

Well, I made the KitKat cake.
Not great. Basically we all just picked the KitKats off and left the cake. That's what I get for using boxed cake instead of making my own.



The cheesecake bars, however, were HEAVENLY. I used strawberry preserves and just about doubled the graham cracker crust. I used 1/2 the crust in the bottom and the other 1/2 as a layer in the middle. Didn't work out as planned, it got a little too soggy. Next time I'd just do it on the bottom, but I don't think it detracted from anything either!
