I don't personally feel she lied about anything important but that's just me.

Quoting Cockfetti:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Captain Obvious:</b>" I don't personally feel she lied about ... [snip!] ... was important or not. Lying puts a huge dent in her credibility. As a star witness in a murder trial, credibility means a lot!"

She's a damn teenager...who cares if she lied about how old she is or if she lied to get out of going to a funeral???

Zimmerman is presumed innocent until Proven guilty. He doesn't have to PROVE self defense. The prosecution has to PROVE murder beyond a reasonable doubt and so far that hasn't been done.

Quoting ~Frodolicious~(B+M=R+?):" Technically, they need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he wasn't attacked and that it wasn't ... [snip!] ... Ground law. Rachel blew that to shreds when she claimed Trayvon confronted Zimmerman first. She inserted reasonable doubt. "

The defense declined a stand your ground law hearing so I don't think it's going to apply here.

Quoting Captain Obvious:" Because if you could comprehend the world in which she lives you wouldn't be surprised. I have personally ... [snip!] ... from Miami Gardens but it's more like a world away. It's a BAD area. She's from the hood. She's a product of her environment."

That is an insult to other people "from the hood."
Both her family and the public school system failed her, no doubt. Those failures are no excuse for lies and disrespect.

While I do think that her being immature, some what frustrated and nervous all played into how she came off, she had no excuse to lie. Even if it was just her name/age, she still lied and that makes people wonder how truthful she is really being.
