viral skin infection Mrs. P ♥ 2 kids; New York 1934 posts

Has anyone had this? And how do I get rid of it?!! I posted about this the other day. I was overly dramatic and right away jumped to skin cancer, lol, but i'm like 90% sure it has to be a viral skin infection. I had a few bumps appear last week, I've gradually been getting more. They're only.on my stamach and back right now, thank god. I made an appt with my doctor already but he can't get me in til the 1st. Which is a bunch of cral. I don't know if this is contagious, or if I'm spreading it to other parts of my body by touching it. Helpppp! :(

**EDIT: Here's a pic!

They're starting to itch a little bit now. But they didn't before. I went tanning today...I'm an idiot. I think that may have irritated it a little bit.

Have you put anything on it or soaked in a tub?

No. I haven't put anything at all on it. Except tanning oil/lotion. That's it. And the rash aready started appearing before i used the lotions, ,so i know it's not an outbreak from that.

No. :( My youngest daughter had a viral skin infection last week. She had a regular checkup with her pedi, so i just brought it to her attention while i was there. DDs pedi just said that it goes away on it's own, you just let it run its course. But it didn't look like this. They were little tiny red 'dots'. They weren't bumps raised on the skin, as mine are. And they were very very tiny, i would compare them to pin like, sized, dots. Mine are huge. And very raised. And scab like in the middle of some. ...i'm just wondering if my daughter was contagious, and i caught it from her. And maybe mine is a more severe case. I don't know. I just don't want to spread to my kids, or on my face for heavens sake.
