I've been off the depo for almost 5 months and I still haven't had a period.
I'm TTC and I feel like I'll never get pregnant now!
I regret ever getting the depo I'm so scared it's messed me up.
I guess I'm just looking for success stories or advice.
I don't know what to do..

Have you talked to your doctor about this? I think some ladies didn't get their period again for well up to a year after getting off the depo.

I was on depo for a year, then got pregnant more than a year later. Depo can take a long time to get out of your system, try to be patient. This is one reason I would NEVER recommend depo, among all the other shit it does to you.

I've never been on depo but i heard getting on the pill for a few months will help regulate everything and might be enough or your body to start having regular periods again.

Ugh! I agree. I was on it for exactly a year.
Were you using any kind of protection in the year it took to get pregnant?

Like what? I'd like to try that.
I don't want anymore hormones or chemicals if I can help it.

I also heard that can help. I have an appt on July 29th but that's a while from now.
Is it possible to get pregnant with no period?
I always thought no period = no ovulation.

They didn't give me anything when I got the shot.
The lady told me I would get my period back right after stopping and I could TTC immediately..

Vitex (my personal favorite) or red raspberry leaf (tea or pill form). I have also successfully induced a period by using parsley tea.

I actually have some red raspberry leaf tea! I have it left over from when I would drink it in my last trimester with DD.

I got the Depo shot back in June 2012 but I had horrible side effects while on it. I ended up getting the Paragard IUD instead of the next shot. I didnt get my one and only period since before the Depo until December 2012. Then I ended up getting the IUD removed in February after only 5 months due to nonstop bleeding. I found out a month later that I was pregnant and we weren't ttcing at all. I will be 20 weeks on Sunday and so far everything looks good.
