Yes. Your point?

Have we been watching different shows?
All of the girls tend to be in horrible situations and it makes having a child as a teenager look despairingly difficult, at least from where I'm sitting.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean they don't really talk about the discomforts of pregnancy but it sure doesn't look appealing either. Lol

Lol, you seriously thought pregnancy and motherhood was going to be all roses and sunshine? That's adorable. :D

I didn't get pregnant because a tv show. I didn't think it was going to be perfect. I was only making a point, mostly because last night sucked. I just think its bull the shows are more realistic. i knew it wouldn't be exactly like tv. I just wasn't totally prepared. but i wasn't blind either. Yes, I have the complete support of my SO and parents.

The first trimester sucks, the second wasn't bad for me at all the only surprised I got was that I got stretch marks and no one told me the itch. That whole glowing thing is crap haha

I think people in general don't talk about the "sucky" parts of pregnancy. Unless you come on BG and then I'm sure you'll read all about it. Lol

No one's ever fully prepared for pregnancy/parenthood, so that's normal. What you're learning right now is that motherhood was intended to be a totally selfless role in life, and it all starts by the sacrificing of your body and comfort. I remember you said you were wanting to breastfeed, and I think that's great -- definitely another selfless, wonderful thing you can do for your baby. It's all about the new life you're bringing into the world.

Yeah, pregnancy sucks. But eventually it WILL be over, and then the hard part comes.

You'll get through it, just take it day by day.

DS is my world, and while I hated going overdue, I liked the few days to myself lol.
