If I were to cook home made sausage rolls, and egg & bacon savories on a Thursday, then store them in airtight containers in the fridge. Would they still be good to serve up on Saturday?
My daughters party is on a Saturday, but Thursdays are my child free days, so I was hoping I could get away with doing all my baking then. I just don't want to make everyone at the party sick.
TIA :)

They might be okay if you put them in the freezer.

Could you freeze them?

Cooked food is good refrigerated for up to 7days. this is as long as all other food safety rules have been followed, ie; cool within in 2 hours of making it and store in an airtight container.

I didn't really want to freeze them, as I'll be reheating them in the oven at the party. And, I can never reheat my frozen food without it going soggy. lol.

Make sure you cool completely or they'll get soggy, but 2 days in the fridge is fine.
