Quoting sαяα:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Jacob'sKeeper:</b>" Yeah... That's not what I was wondering, ... [snip!] ... thanks."</blockquote> I just meant that it doesn't matter what you wear, I wasn't catching an attitude or anything. :?"

It seemed like it. This is the first funeral I've been to since my son died in February and I have a lot of anxiety about it.

Quoting Jacob'sKeeper:" My family isn't super dressy either. Just a bunch of farmers/ranchers. I'm thinking as long as it's dressy? It's very modest."

Don't worry about it. I wore a floral print shirt (it was red orange and white) to my brother's funeral. I knew he wouldn't care what I wore and I could really have cared less what others thought of what I was wearing while I was mourning his death. What you said sounds fine to me.

No, not at all. Sometimes it's hard to read people over the Internet, KWIM?

I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm sure whatever you wear will be appropriate. :)

I was probably a little quick to react.

It's ok, I can only imagine how tough this is.

Dark clothes aren't the only thing people wear anymore. Most people just dress nice not dreary, that sounds fine
