Are you have contractions? Are you timing them? I see you are due in about 2ish weeks. I would start timing the sharp pains and if they are regular I'd call your doctor and see if they want you to go get checked out.

I have an irritable uterus so i give up on timing contractions, i've been in twice with contractions but No change in my cervix. Its so frustrating. The pains in my vag only last a few seconds so im really not sure what they are. Im so over this waiting game.

It's hard to say what's normal, because normal for one may not be normal for another. I've been having lots of stabbing pains and pressure too, but my vag doesn't feel swollen. Are you having any funky discharge?

The swelling can be normal, it's caused by the increase in blood flow down there. The whole right side of mine did while I was pregnant.

Eta, I never had the tenderness you described.

When I have thrush I swell inside an out and it gets tender. Did you use an applicator and only just do it before the pains started ? I cramp a bit after I use the applicator, I always just figured if irritated myself a bit

That's what I was going to suggest; a yeast infection.
