Lol people are mad about this? It's not a surprise the US is huge compared to a lot of Spanish speaking countries and we have more people. I speak both English and Spanish and so will DD.

I don't care. What makes me angry is when people say to speak English, or even worse "American". America does not have a national language.

When I was 12 I knew French not anymore lol I completely forgot everything I learned. We were taught French before English it wasn't until the 8th grade when we started the classes. In Costa Rica they teach English to kids at a young age one of my cousins is 18 and she can have a conversation with me.

It's just by default. We're a massive country. Peru is not.
