What kind of food do you make on a hot day?
We don't have A/C and I hate cooking and making it even hotter in the house. I have a BBQ but no propane... which doesn't matter since I'm afraid to light it anyhow.. haha.
I made salad wraps today, which is wonderful for me, I could live off of them. The rest of my family... not so much. ... Almost considering going on a raw diet. lol
We normally live off of sandwiches or crockpot meals but lately I've been s*****g it up and cooking even though its 90* in the house
we had grilled cheese and fries and ate on the patio =)
i usually cnt cook wen its hot especially if we were out in the heat that day argh... we had PB&J yesterday its ok sometimes to do nothing lol
I live off coffee and green tea no matter what the weather.
crock pot and fast meals are my bff. Like today for lunch, we had quesadillas with grapes, blueberries, tomatoes and almonds.
I also make up a out of hard boiled eggs then store then in the fridge and we eat those for a few days. Tuna or chicken salad would be good too I think.
Lots of salad ( chicken cesear, pasta salad, fruit salad) , living room picnics, crockpot meals, pizza delivery, meatball subs ect.
We're having Chinese Chicken Salad.
And for lunch I microwaved sweet potatos for ) minutes and we had that and some honeydew.
Sandwiches are always good. And even peninis are fun and easy, where everyone makes their own. And we have BLTs a lot too. I cook the bacon in the oven for 20 min and that's pretty much our favorite on hot days.
