Thank you so much. The patch on his arm looks nothing like the rest of his eczema. I've got a link to picture of it earlier. I can't post the actuall picture though as on my phone.

Did that work? Lol. Does it look like what your little one has?
I bothers him so much. I feel awful that everything I do for him isn't working. :(

With DD, she has it on both arms, I put the hydrocortizone on and put zincofax overtop before bed. Works awesome! It was all red last night and practically gone today.

It was kind of like that but his skin had dried out in the middle as well. Hopefully you find something that helps, it's so frustrating when you know that it bothers them and you can't do anything about it.

Yea dexters dries out over night but soon as he's awake he scratches like crazy and its gooey again. :( nothing I can do to stop the itching. He does everything he can to scratch it on whatever he can find! He's a crafty monkey.

It's twice as bad today than in that photo so I've got an appointment for him with the emergancy doctor so hopefully he can help us! It's seeping so much it's making his clothes yellow. :(

maybe he has scratched it so much that it has a bacterial infection in it now. My son has eczema too...and once gave us an antibiotic cream to use on it too. We've also used Triamcinolone alot. It works a lot better than hydrocortisone. It's a steroid cream too but it is stronger.

went to the docs. She said that it's got very angry and given more anti biotic cream to put on for a week. and i got some cloth bandages to keep the cream on over night. she also recommended keeping him as cool as possible (durr) cause we're going from a small heatwave at the moment (a whopping 23

My daughter has some terrible eczema. After my new baby was born an I had breast milk, I started putting it on DD patches. My husband called it voodoo magic. Helped tremendously.

Might not be an option for you, just putting it out there.

I always hear this about breast milk being a miracle cute for everything. Lol.
Maybe I'll try it next time I have one.

Try a product called CapriClear. It's a hypoallergenic, spray on moisturizer that works great for eczema, dry, itchy skin conditions. I use it myself and on my kids. It helps soothes and moisturize and takes the redness out of the skin. Give it a try. I get mine at Ulta stores.
