Quoting Blythe.:" I would have been living in fear"

Oh, dude. I'm with you.

See, there was a crack in the ceiling right by where the ceiling met the fireplace. And we would periodically see a shadow. And one night found out it was that beastie. I freaked. It ran across the floor, my brother ran after it with said ketchup bottle, and then slept with the ketchup bottle next to him.

Never saw that one again, but then one summer I was down by the lake with DD who was about 4 months old. Was sitting for a while, and looked down, and there was one, chilling on the f**king rock right next to me. And in the crack of the rock, some of his little (read: huge) family members. Scary. As. Shit.

HOLY f**k

When DS was like a week old one came crawling up the side of my bed by his head. I ended up pulling him off the bed by his leg, trying so f**king hard not to scream. Found a bunch of nests in our curtains. Just about died. Thank GOD they were still eggs for the most part but each nest was guarded by one of those fuckers.

Never again.

I'd pick it up and put it on my face.

Just kidding. I'd just cry. I wouldn't move just stand there and die right there.

 I just killed one of these b***hes the other night. For my husband, who is scared of spiders.

We were watching a movie in the dark and I saw it out of the corner of my eye, skittering across the carpet. I told him, "I don't mean to alarm you, but I need a little light because I think there's a spider."
He freaked. Then grabbed a flashlight. Fast little shit hid under the toe of his boot because it seemed to be afraid of the light. Jose was scared, standing on the couch, "I think I'm about to jump."
 "Okay, where."
"I don't know, that's the problem."

Eventually I scared it into the kitchen (with the lights still off, so it stayed pretty much out in the open) and I smashed it with one of the kids board books. THANKS KIDS!

Oh, man. Whenever I hear the words "Don't freak out..." from DH it sets of panic mode in me. Because I know there's a bee nearby.

Same. Spiders and most insects don't really bother me, but bees and wasps and hornets and the like freak me the hell out. I'm allergic. So, I kill spiders for him, he kills bees and shit for me, that's love.

But yeah, those are magic panic inducing words.
