Is your apartment / home?

And how many people living there?

Do you feel it's enough space or do you feel crowded?

3000 sq. My SO, myself, DS, DD and my niece live here. It's a good amount of space and love it. Were not stepping on each other.

Just me and my 1 and 3 year old here. It's a few feet away from 3,000. It's way too big I hate it. I'm converting a large portion into an area for my parents to stay.

1476 sq ft. DH, DS1, DS2 and myself are the only ones here and we feel like we have plenty of room. It is summer time now and we have had my niece and nephew here off and on and even with them added it still doesn't feel too crowded.

Our condo is about 1,000sqf, 2 bed+den 2 bath, It's actually on the larger side for Vancouver condos and we paid way to much IMO. It's just SO, LO and I and its a fair size. When we build or purchase a new build we will be looking in the 2,500-3,000sqf range.

I'm torn between two apartments

Both in the general area I want to be in

One is on a busy street, no backyard, but is 1100 sq feet with 2 biggish bedrooms and one small one. LO could use the small room for a play room. This is something he asks for constantly.

The other is on a PERFECT street. Quiet secluded. Probably the most desirable street in the neighborhood. It is 800 sq ft and the two bedrooms are TINY. Especially the room that would be LO's. I have no idea where I'd keep his toys. But this apartment has a porch and a deck and a two car driveway. Everything inside is brand new. But there's also no tub... Just a shower

Just torn. Ya know?

Our house is 2900Sq, Ft. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully finished basement, laundry room, a study. I live with my son and my mother, because I have to take care of my mother. It's perfect. My sister and grandmother come to stay sometimes, and it never get's crowded. We also have 3 large dogs.

I would pick the first. You can always bring your child to a park.

no tub with a child? that right there would turn me away lol.

I would go with #1 for sure--lack of space sucks!

Ours is 1100 sq ft--3 br 2 bath and its good for us (myself, SO, 4 yr old, 2 yr old, 1 yr old) we'll see how it goes next year with a 4th baby :P

I have no idea how many sq. ft. my apartment is but it's a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. I have a walk-in closet and bathroom (master) and a washer and dryer in a separate closet. The rooms are pretty big and I also have a small porch/balcony. There's 3 of us so it works.

Somewhere between 1500 and 1600 I think. It's SO and I, and DD on the way soon. It'll be enough space for all three of us.

Uhhh, first one! Definitely. We lived in a house that was 650 square feet... it was TERRIBLE, and that was with two people. 800 isn't much bigger than that. I would never, ever do that again lol. SO's mom moved into it about six months ago when we decided that we just couldn't handle the close quarters anymore... she had some family over for the past week, I seriously thought the house was going to explode from all the people (9 of us). We couldn't even walk without running into each other.

Our house is about 400. The house we want to build is about 800(?) roughly.

It's cozy but sucks on storage. I want bigger and can't wait to be able to afford and build on this lot.
