So this kid, goes to a DUI check point, puts his camera on, and then the cop comes to the window...the kid is CLEARLY! being defiant and a little prick in my opinion. like he instigated that imo for no reason, which is why he pushed record...all the officer did was ask to roll down his window more! I love that there are routine stops on holidays like this, puts a lot of drunk drivers behind bars instead of the wheel.

Quoting S & J waiting on our bumb:" Officers we so in the wrong there"

Why do you say that? If I was the cop, I would be like...hmm why does he not want to roll down his window? is there something on his breath he does not want me to smell?

He wasn't unnecessarily defiant. He was polite and knew his rights. That cop was out of line and his fellows knew it... hence the two searching his car saying "he's perfectly innocent and knows his rights."
I like DUI checkpoints when they're used to find drunk drivers. But this cop obviously wasn't interested in doing that.

I hate those annoying videos where they disrespect cops and want no consequences for it obv if you do that cops will give you a hard time. how hard was it for him to roll down the window and give the cop his ID?

What I don't understand is why didn't they ask if he was drinking. This is clearly a dui checkpoint. I do believe we should have them to stop drinking and driving. There was no need to search his vehicle. If they suspected he was drinking, give him a test. Don't treat him like a criminal. We are all innocent until proven guilty right? And the cop was in the wrong, I believe. We have rights.

He looked like he was trying to hide something. He could have been hiding his breath or something else that he did not want the officer to smell.

the dogs were a bit overboard

I think it's stupid. I agree that he was looking to instigate a fight from the cop.

And we don't have DUI checkpoints here, I wish we did. Drunk drivers get off way to easily.

Very true.I think he was dumb for not putting his window all the way down. But they went overboard here.

I got a video of a guy in my town, who drove his truck in the MORNING into a damn bar, and got stuck on train tracks, had beet cans falling out of the car, is a known dope head and drunk, their whole family is! and his car got stuck on the train tracks RIGHT outside my window! trains come every 5-10 min sometime, so when I heard the train whistle I got my camera out...train HIT the truck, the guy ran and guess what? I see him driving around EVERY DAY! did not get in trouble, cops gave no fucks...ppl drive drunk and FAST by my house all day long, and there is NEVER cops sitting waiting to pull them over which is why they do it!! the kids of that guy severely neglect and abuse their kids do to their dope habit..no one not cys not cops do anything about it.

I don't think he was trying to start a fight. He is trying to prove a point, that although we are told we have rights, we actually don't have very many at all.

Officers try to abuse their 'power'. I'm not an officer hater, I love the police. But we all know that when there is a power struggle they get butt hurt and start acting stupid. That guy was innocent, and so are many other people, and they get treated like crap when they know their rights. And question authority.

Right, but if he was innocent then why refuse to roll down your window when he asks? its 4th of july, its expected that people get wasted, drive and kill people...YES totally, I know plenty of cops that take their authority to a whole nother level!
