Elliot is the correct spelling.

I can't stand the one l though. I'm naming my daughter Elliana which is actually spelled Eliana but I don't like it with one l haha.

I'm biased. my Elliot is 8. we picked this spelling because we felt Elliott was too many repeat letters and Eliot was too short. I don't care for Roman, but it's not a horrible name.

I would use 2 Ls. And I love Roman. My sister dated a guy named Roman in highschool and ever since then I have loved the name. I tried to talk my husband into it with my first (but she ended up being a girl :P). This time around we found a boy name we both love, so I didn't try Roman this time around lol

When I looked up Roman, it popped up as a unisex name, which I hate, so I don't like it anymore, lol. I would never think of Roman as a girl name, although I have a Blake, and that's not feminine to me at all either, but there are female Blake's... so who knows.
I love Ethan, have since I had my first 8 years ago, but it's soooo popular. Boy names are hard, especially when we already have 5. haha

actually, there are many "right spellings" of the name Elliot. Eliot is just as correct as Elliot or Elliott. Elliott is the original spelling. Elliana looks clunky and misspelled. too many unnecessary letters. You should spell it correctly if you're going to use it.

2 Ls. Eliot just looks odd to me.

Too many unnecessary letters? By adding one l? Okay... It's just like Elliot.
