I have an Elizabeth (Lizzy/Liz), Olivia (Livi/Liv) and Alexis (Lexi/Lex) ...I was thinking of going with Lillian (Lilly/Lil). But... the other 3 girls have vowels for their first letter and the 2nd letter is L.... so JUST WONDERING... what would a good IL name be??? Middle name of Riley.
Wow, those are super similar names.
branch out. Just find names you like. You've already clustered the first 3 together, the 4th doesn't have to match. they aren't going to feel left out.
you already have an IL name w/ Riley. It's a boys name, but what the hell. If you're going to force your kids to be a pack of sausages, you might as well go with a boys name too. It doesn't make it any worse.
There's not that many that start IL
My other 3 girls have the middle name of Riley too. It's a girls name, not just a boys name. When they are married they can still share the same middle name, that's one reason we went with it. Plus, my husband and I both have R middle names. My twin sister and I have the same middle name, my 2 older DDs are 1 year apart (Irish Twins), so that's why we had them have the same middle name. Plus DH & I both have Irish heritage on our sides.
Quoting *Mommy To 3 Princesses*:" There isn't many at all, I know. That's why I just wanted to ask other moms, that's all. I would love ... [snip!] ... niece's name AND sister's name, so he doesn't want that either. I like Aliyah but he doesn't. We both like Lillian though."
I was just making an observation lol.
So you guys aren't set on it starting with an I? Just the second letter being an L?
IF we were having a boy, the name would be Michael Russell. Michael after my younger brother who passed away 1 month after I had my oldest daughter, and Russell after my FIL and my DH's middle name.
But, we are having another girl.
Your girls all have the middle name Riley?
Quoting Jillynne:" Your girls all have the middle name Riley?"
Yep! Not like we use it often at all, so why not. Going to have 4 girls and their last names will change when they get married, so why not let them all have the same middle name... even though it's rarely used/being said.

Well, that's assuming a lot. Alright though, whatever. Shrug.
