I'm a Dyson lover. We have a 5+ year old All floors and I just bought an Animal Complete a few months ago, cause I got tired of carrying our old one up & down stairs...total first world probs. But, our 5yo Dyson works just as well as the new one...I just feel like the new one is lighter and easier to maneuver.

Yeah, I think if you're going to go for a dyson animal, spring for the complete. It comes with a better turbine brush (attachment) and a few others that the regular dc41 doesn't come with. I'm bummed that I'll have to buy it separate.
