Quoting ZenMama:" I've done Insanity... lost 30 lbs last year doing that and riding my bike all summer. I quit smoking ... [snip!] ... the groove of Insanity again (the time was killing me). I'm really interested in T25 though... I could probably work with that!"

I was just recently looking into the T25... each workout day is shorter (25 minutes as opposed to 40-70 minutes) and the workout week is shorter with 5 days as opposed to 6. Both are very effective, but because T25 has shorter days/ weeks the program is longer at 10 weeks as opposed to 8. I personally was just barely fitting Insanity in during nap time which was the only time I had to concentrate on working out and even then I had to keep stopping because my son would get out of bed and I would have to corral him back in. I really want to give T25 a try, but it's pretty pricey... I got Insanity from my husband's boss so I didn't have to pay for it. I don't think it's necessarily easier it is just a shorter workout which may mean it is more intense. There don't seem to be breaks in there either, with Insanity you get a break after each run through.

Tons of modifications and it is STILL an intense workout.

I don't recommend either for a beginner, esp if preggers! I'd suggest a more 'sane' and equally effective (for bodyshaping) program for you, like Visual Impact for Women. My two cents as a long-time trainer.

i own both !! but T25 is my favourite and in NO WAY " this is a beginner program..... ive been exercising for yrs and find this program intense, id say its more a intermediate than beginner. Insanity is just insane " ! im not into that.... too much jumping and way too advanced. PICK T25 :)
im up to week 4 in T25 i feel so much tighter all over:)
