I started using opks 4 days ago and they had two lines but the test line wasn't as dark as the control line so negative. Then yesterday it had no line at all so a few ladies on here said o had passed. So can I get negative that many days and if so then does that mean I ovulated maybe last week? I had mirena removed July 2 as well. So should I also expect aunt flo in what 2 weeks? If not does that mean I could have still got pregnant? Sorry for so many questions just trying to learn and figure out my body! Never tracked before just waited for my period lol

What day did you start using your OPKs? The day you first bleed is considered CD 1. Most people ovulate CD13-17 i believe. I start my tests on CD 10 and usually O on CD 14. Some O early and some late. I usually get a second line that gets darker as i get closer then after my positive they either get super light second lines or no second line at all. Yes... i continue to test after my positive cause i'm a POAS addict! LOL They say if you have sex every other or every third day you should be covered. GL on getting your BFP!

I figured out most abbreviations but what is cd? And I haven't had a period yet I think. I spotted for a few days after mirena removal but that's it. Should I wait until my next period to figure out? I guess it was the 7th I think?

CD means cycle day, and personally I would wait until you for sure have a period and start tracking that cycle. Right now your hormones have probably not adjusted and you may probably haven't even ovulated yet. Any OPK where the line is not as dark or darker than the control line is considered negative.

When I was using OPK's I bought a bunch of the little cheapies off amazon and would start testing on CD 10 you could see the line gradually get darker around cd 15 and then It would either be as dark or darker on CD 18, meaning within the next 12-48 hrs I was ovulating, then afterwards it would gradually get lighter afterwards.

Hopefully this helps, Goodluck!

I'm sorry i didn't realize you didn't have a period yet. If you really want to use OPKs before you get a period you'll need to test every day until you get a positive. And I'm not positive but doesn't it sometimes take a long time to get a period after removal?? Personally i'd probably wait until i got a period to start tracking and do the every other or third day method until then. Best of luck!!!
