Do they always do an ultrasound if you have a concern with anything dealing with your pregnancy; but in this case due to bleeding. Or just post with you called your OB with an issue dealing with bleeding and whats measures did they take to make sure baby was okay?

To my knowledge they only do u/s to determine a date early in pregnancy, or at your first appointment (if you're further along etc) and then the anatomy scan at around 20wks to make sure everything is going okay. They don't do any more than that here unless you're high risk. They will put you on the monitors, try to find baby with the dopplar, send you to L&D for eval, etc. But an u/s is the last resort because a lot of insurances don't like to pay out for them (so I was told)

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks for bleeding and blood work done then too.
