So, I saw my ex-boyfriend on the 4th. I saw him as I was walking into the store and we said Hi and that was it. Well, ever since then, I've been having dreams about him. Not sex dreams, just dreams where we're hanging out doing everyday things. I just have to wonder why I'm having these. I don't have feelings for him anymore, but I think sometimes I wish our relationship would have been different...We were both very young when we dated (14 and 16), and neither one of us really knew what it meant to have a serious boyfriend/girlfriend. So, we just sat in his room all day and did nothing which pretty much lead to our first break up. Then we dated again, same thing. He was that guy that I would always go back to, because we had a really strong attraction, but that was it.

A few years ago we met up again, got drunk, and had sex. After that he got the idea in his head that we were going to start dating again, but I didn't want to. Sometimes I think I should have. We had both matured and he seemed so different, like he could be a really good SO. He was very upset that I turned him down, said that he just wanted another chance to show me that he could be romantic, and give me attention (part of why it never worked was because he just never paid attention to me, but I never really asked either, like I said..we were young) but I just couldn't.

I LOVE my current SO. We've been together for 2 years, have a daughter, and he's just...the prefect guy for me. It's just ever since I saw my ex, I've been having these dreams and I find myself thinking about him a lot. I think I just miss him, honestly. After our one night stand we stopped talking pretty much for good. Even though I don't think we were meant for a relationship, he was always a good friend, just a good guy in general. We have a lot of history together.

I don't really expect anyone to read all this. I'm not even sure why I wrote it all down. It's just been on my mind a lot, and I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. Any input would be appreciated, but this is mostly just a rant.

I feel this way sometimes about my ex. He was my first "love" so I just wished it would of been a better relationship. I think the idea of "young love" does that to you. I am sure it is a normal feeling almost everyone gets. (I hope.)

That makes sense. He was my first "serious" boyfriend and we just have so much history together. Sometimes I wish he was still in my life as a friend, because he is a good guy.

Is there any way of getting in contact with him? If you would like him to be in your life in that capacity I don't see why it should be an issue. My ex and I ended on a very sour, frustrating note but we're still there for one another as friends. I can't imagine just cutting him completely out of my life.

Not really. I don't know his phone number anymore and he doesn't have a facebook. I'm sure I'll see him again eventually, and I'll probably get his number so we can catch up or something.

I'm kinda the same with one of my exes. I mean.. we only dated once, I was 14 and he was 16 too and to this day I still find him extremely attractive and he's always had the best sense of humor. We're friends on FB and I always catch myself looking at his pictures or his status updates. I love my current SO and we also have a baby together, but I still seem to be drawn to my ex for whatever reason.

Right? I feel like I'm always going to be somewhat drawn to him, even if it's not romantically.

Exactly, it's not like I have feelings for him still or anything, I just can't seem to stop stalking his page for some reason hahah.

Haha I wish he had a facebook. Like, I just want to see how he's doing sometimes. The only time I ever see him is randomly at a store or at the bar.
