Has anyone ever tried the little baby bassisnets that lay on the bed with you? I know my fear is rolling over or on to the baby while I am sleeping. Is there a certain brand anyone can recommend?

Why not get a bassinet stand right next to your bed?

What about a co-sleeper?

I think they are called moses baskets, but if your afraid of rolling over on baby I would just get a regular bassinet or pack n play and just have it set up next to your bed, that's what I did with DS until he got older.

I had a Snuggle Nest co-sleeper, but only used it a couple times because DD slept better on top of me.

I've never personally used one, I co-slept without using anything. I would just google moses baskets and check out the reviews that others may have posted.

I have a bassinet and a pack and play, I was just interested in the option of him sleeping in my bed with me. Is a co sleeper a mesh/softer material mosesbasket? Also Im afraid to let the baby sleep in that top part of the pack n play.

How come? The sides come up pretty far, up until my son started sitting up on his own and pulling up at about 5 months he slept in it with no problems. The sides come up as much, if not further than the sides of his bassinet.
