My daughter is super excited about the new baby coming. We still have awhile but she is thrilled. My son on the other hand....does NOT want a baby sister or brother. He just keeps saying no no no! He doesn't like the babies I watch, he hates when they cry and gets jealous and says thats my mommy not yours! I don't know how to get him excited about a new baby sibling :(

:( maybe have him help you pick things out for the baby when you find out the gender, and help you get the babys things ready?!
Stanley is really excited, but I dont think he understands really. lol. he can tell me where she is (mommys tummy), he understands I am buying clothes, carseat, stroller, etc for her, but I dont think he understands that this baby will never go home! lol.

I think it will change once he meets him/her. It might take him a while to warm up to the new baby but Jace was the same way and he and Sawyer are now the best of friends.

How did he react when you were pregnant with the twins?

He never really grasped the concept. Even when I was huge it was like he didn't get that I was pregnant with babies...then he didn't say anything when my belly went away either...He was only 2 though.

I'm sorry! :(
I've never had that problem, my kids were always too young to know what was going on, or old enough to be excited. My 4, 5 and 7 year old kids are excited about the baby. My 2 year old has no clue. What I did do with the kids to try to help them better prepare was taking them and letting them pick out something special for the baby. And I keep telling them what a big help they will be. I took my oldest to the ultrasounds with me so he could seethe baby and he was so excited. I let them feel the baby kick when they want to and try to keep them excited about it! Good luck mama! I kow its definitely an adjustment for them! I hope he gets excited!!
