Would this be good? Belle De Jour Due October 8 (boy); 2 kids; Kentucky 19179 posts

So I made WAY to much rice for my last meal and need to use it so it doesn't get wasted.
Would it be good if I made grilled or baked chicken and then made a cheese sauce to pour over it?
What are some other things I can do with the rice for really picky eaters?

I do chicken and gravy or cheese sauce over rice all the time.

Or you can do meatballs and gravy over rice.

I'd make a hibachi type stir fry with yum yum sauce

yes do that. When I have extra, I usually just put cream of mushroom on it.

I have to use what I have in the house
Stir fry, I don't think the girls would eat. And I do have some turkey burger but it's just the amount I need for another meal. So that's out.
Now I guess I'll just look up a recipe for making cheese sauce.

I love wraps. Keep in mind I'm a vegetarian. But I take a tortilla, shredded cheese, some chopped up veggies, the rice, eat em up.

Ok, the chicken is cooking :)
Now, should the cheese sauce be thicker or thinner??? Mmm I'm so excited about this food lol.
And what should i have for the sides?
I thought about making a fruit smoothie and then having greens for the side. Does that sound weird?
I wish I had some broccoli to put in the chicken and rice. I knew I should have picked some up at the store...

I like my cheese sauce a little thicker. And greens would be a good side since you don't have broccoli. Unless you have green beans. Green beans would be good too.
