I brought my daughter to the hospital with a 105 fever, which came out of no where. She wasn't sick or acting sick at all. She overheated last year around this time. And needed ivs in the hospital. So they did some testing and it came back negative for strep but they treated her for it anyway. Her doctor called the next day saying she had strep it came back positive. She has been on antibiotics now for days. This happened monday. And today she has been throwing up, a lot. Everything she eats. And I worry she may be overheated but she has no fever and the nurse I called didn't think so. Didn't think iy was the antibiotics either. The flu bug isn't going around. I don't get it.

There are always bugs of some sort floating around so she could have just picked something up. Just keep her cool, plenty of water and fluids, and let her lounge around in as little clothing as you are comfortable.

I threw up alot when I had strep throat too. And try having her eat some saltine crackers when she takes the antibiotics...i wouldn't take them on an empty stomach.

This. I dont think the throwing up has to do with the strep if shes been on antibiotics since Monday.
