We did! It was stressful planning since it wasn't an elopement or anything but it was worth it and so much fun! We got married at Caesars Palace and had a 2 floor suite for the night where the reception was. Afterwards everyone went out and did their own thing since it was a Saturday night.

I got married outside of Vegas at the Paiute golf resort. It was perfect and I loved it. I'm from Vegas and wanted to prove you can have a hometown wedding an not be classified a "Vegas" wedding though, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for. My other option was lake Las Vegas. But I had a connection to the area out by the Paiute.

Lol thank you! :) Also if you do a wedding through Caesars Entertainment or whatever (the company that owns Rio, Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's, etc) you get a TON of rewards points and comps afterwards lol.

There are other places we looked at too that were off the strip and not part of hotels but we figured it would be more convenient to stay on the strip.

Yeah I'm not interested in the "classic" drunken Vegas wedding  I'm going to look into the resort, thanks!

I was just looking online at different flight/hotel packages online and the idea of a Vegas wedding popped in my head, lol. It would most likely be just us two so I'm not looking for anything huge.

We did. It was beautiful. It was classy, and involved no stress on my part. I really loved our chapel.

Springs Preserve! My sister got married there. They had all sorts of options and it was gorgeous!

Oh and make sure to check out the Vegas Board on The Knot. The people there are so helpful and the mod for the board even put together a list of Vegas Vendors with links to reviews from other people who have used them. That's where we found a lot of our vendors.

This was one of the places we considered, even put down a deposit and everything. But my planner was a fail and NEVER responded to my calls nor emails. Like I had to post on their facebook page to get her to freaking respond. So that's when I changed my mind and said nope, we're going with somewhere else. Although my planner left shortly after that and apparently I wasn't the only one with that issue with her.

I have a friend who got married here as well and she loved it! Their packages are pretty good too!

Ah yeah then a smaller chapel (but one of the nice ones, not the trashy ones lol) would probably be best if it's just going to be you two and a witness.

That's awful! We had a wonderful experience. Our planner was fantastic, and everything went so smoothly. Our pictures turned out pretty nice, too.

Our marriage license would have to be in the state we live in, correct? And we bring it to Vegas with us and present it at the chapel?
