Quoting EasyComeEasyGo:" The verdict is correct because of Florida's stand your ground law. While I think it is unfair.. The jury got it right"

And the law should be changed. Too many innocent people have been killed because of it. It's a free pass for murder.

Quoting Mama Rice:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Punk Rock Princess {EBFT}:</b>" Reasonable doubt. The jury did ... [snip!] ... Didn't work."</blockquote> They hoped that they could play to the women jurors emotions and forego concrete evidence."

I find it insulting that they assumed because the jury were all women that they would be blinded by their emotions and not be able to think logically.

I think the jury question asking them to explain the manslaughter instructions should have been answered. If it had been, we may have had a different verdict.

He was going home until Zimmerman started following him/

It seemed to me like that is what they were doing with their closing arguments. They didn't have evidence so they hoped that they could appeal to the mother's urge to protect their children and other children.

I absolutely agree. Anyone can start a fight with someone, and if the person who starts it feels threatened, they can shoot. It's definitely not fair.

Following someone is not against the law.

Stalking is, and that's what Zimmerman was doing.
