Does anyone have any suggestions for a good double stroller? My son will be 2 when his little brother arrives and I would love suggestions and product reviews! There is just way too much out there and I haven't really been able to test many out because of where we live. We are pretty active, so a jogging stroller would probably be the best, I've looked into those buggies that can be pulled behind a bicycle or used as a stroller, but they are crazy expensive, and I don't cycle anyway, so it seems a waste ( just figured that they would likely ride well and be very secure) Help!! :)

I'm also a jogger so I'm very picky about what I like in a double stroller as I also like it to fit through a standard doorway. I liked the chariot the best for jogging but it doesn't fold down really so putting it in the vehicle isn't going to happen, the sheild is also the best I've come across for weather protection depending on where you live. I also really like the double BOB as it fits through the door, is an easy fold down, the wheel is stationary so it's better for jogging than the revolution wheel, and it's light weight. I also liked the Belle Bebe single but the doubles are hard to find so I never actually tried it out, but the single was extremely light weight and easy to maneuver.

Thanks! I live in Canada, so yeah, weather is always an issue :P Especially since I am due in September. Of course there is an ad for strollers across the top of the page now so I have looked at a few, has anyone tried the Schwinn Tourismo jogger?

I haven't tried it but shwinn often has mixed reviews, I would just google the crap out of it and see if taking the leap makes you comfortable.

Oh, and I also live in Canada, up in Northern Alberta and have found that the chariot shield was the only one to not have the plastic crack in the harsh winters, the other ones I needed to replace after a season.

Good to know! I'm only finding sites that have the ever infuriating "does not ship to Canada" *&^%^$ under their order now section. Smurf them and their not shipping to Canada policy!

The BOB seems great, except it only seems to come in orange or yellow ( am I being too picky now?! what is wrong with plain black :P ) My sister was looking for a Phil and Ted but the double is terribly designed! the poor kid in back is stuck staring at the back of the chair, and they're so low... I loved that it could be converted to a double and back to a single though, since James is 2 he would only need to stroller for longer adventures and would likely walk the short trips. The Chariot, it turns out, is the one I was originally looking at but it was 1200. I think my husband would have me committed if I spent that on a stroller....

I have a Phil and teds double and love it! The seat is low but not that bad . And my second and third child never had issues with the seats. They look out the side they can still see plenty. I can see it being more of an issue if you at someplace like the zoo or something where you would really want to see something but just walking about not bad at all. The only negatives with the seat is the shallow storage basket but we have saddle bags for long trips that help with that . This stroller works great for us since it is so compact but maneuvers wonderfully. We live in a small town where there are not many paved areas or sidewalks , your more likely to encounter sand, gravel, dirt and generally rough terrain so this stroller is a life saver for us.

Good to know! Thank you! My other challenge now is finding the bloody things in Canada. Every site i went to last night wouldn't ship to Canada. (oh, and I found a BOB in black, and another in blue, turns out they're not all orange/yellow after all :) wasn't available in Canada but at least it's out there...)

I'm considering the Baby Jogger: City Select.
