I just feel like sharing my favorites of our engagement photos :) I edited them myself! What do you think? Constructive criticism welcome!

I know absolutely nothing about pictures. But I like your dress! And I think the first picture is cute. Though I'm not a fan of pregnant engagement photos and I would've turned to the other side so the unfinished tattoo wasn't showing

But they're cute overall. Congratulations on your engagement! :)

Agree, I'd retake some after the baby. I don't like the edit at all in the first, the rest are meh. I agree the clothes for SO should be nicer.

They look over edited. If you like them - that's all that matters. I'm not a fan of having my pictures with a lot of edit in them.

I think your SO could have worn nicer clothing. Your face isn't in them. They look over-edited. They don't look professional.

Congrats, though.

That's why they're my favorites. It's hell editing the pimples and blemishes on my face

Thank you :) I was wondering if they looked too edited, I'll tone it down some.

He doesn't have any "nice" clothes and refuses to wear button-down shirts or anything fancy like that, not even for our wedding! He's been casual his entire life and rarely buys brand names. I'm trying to negotiate that he can at least wear a dress shirt and trousers for the wedding cuz my dress won't be casual and I don't want us to clash. And the engagement photos while being pregnant gave us a chance to have a few maternity photos thrown in there since my mom won't be in town during my last months of pregnancy and it's gonna be winter.

honestly, i'm really not trying to sound mean, but you should redo them or get someone who knows what they're doing to do them for you. none of them are very well composed. they are cute snapshots though. your SO's clothes are a bit casual.

as far as the editing... they look really instagramy/picniky. you should take a photoshop class, it was one of the best investments i've made!

but the important thing is that you like them! they're your pictures afterall

My mom did them for us :) she went with what I wanted, location and everything. We'd rather have someone close to us that we love and who has taken photography courses to take the photos than some random photographer that we don't know. And don't worry, I know you weren't being mean ;)

I was wondering if the editing was a bit exaggerated, thank you for being honest :) I'll play around with the colors in photoshop. I want to up the vibrance, but still make them look realistic!
