I FF DS and I used to have WIC. It didn't cover all of it at all.

they still will if you decide later on to give her formula....I breast fed my DD until she was 10 months old and then I started a full time job and couldn't pump a lot during break and my milk started slowing depleting and DD was losing interest in my boobs so i went to wic and told them I wanted to get formula and they gave me checks until she was one. Yes...it helps...but it wont cover all of the formula they need. I got like 7 cans a month but by the time DD was that old she went through a can in a couple of days....

Then i won't be able too at all, my baby would go hungry if i dried up.
Guess i should stop my job searching, I'm afraid i may dry up with a pump and i wouldn't be able to produce enough.

yeah and if you wanted to pump...start earlier! if you wait longer it will be harder to pump. Your body responds differently when there is a baby on your boob versus a pump on your boob. it is harder to pump.

That's the year I had WIC and it didn't cover all of the formula we needed. We still had to buy 3 cans by the end of the month. Not that I'm complaining lol. It was such a big help!

I can only pump once a day and get about 5 oz.

Quoting AaliyahVal'sMommy:" DD is only 2 months."

You should not be letting her cry then. CIO should only be use at 6+ months! have your tried pumping one side while she nurses on the other? It helps a lot to build up a supply if you do it that way!

mhhm breast feeding is best...it is healthier for baby, free, and more convenient! thank god i only had to use formula for 2 months. and she transitioned into milk really well. But holy cow I never realized how much milk a little toddler could go through! lol

This was in 2012-2013. I got 9 cans a months and it wasn't enough, I usually ended up having to buy at least 1-2 more cans.
