I think he's probably ok. Dd only pooped once a week from 2 weeks old till 8 months old. As long as he is peeling enough he's probably ok.

I would call just to be safe. I never formula fed, but 5 hours is a bit long to go without a bottle.

yes i agree. Call just to be sure, especially for ff babies, and one so young there should probably be more bowel movements, and possibly less when they are a bit older, but I have read ff babies typically have pretty regular movements. 24 hrs isn't too bad so don't worry, but mention it to the doctor for your own peace of mind.

Typically a FF baby will have regular bm, on a daily basis, breastfed babies generally can go days without it becoming an issue so yes, you were definitely right there!

the dr said he thinks he's not eating enough so we're waking him up every 3 hours to feed... also if he doesn't poop today we're giving him a little diluted prune juice...

DD would go that long without eating at that age as well. I read that for the first two weeks you should wake them to eat, but after two weeks they'll learn when to tell you they're hungry. Also, if you're breastfeeding it's normal for them to go days without pooping. I think after five days is when they say you should call a doctor.
