I think since you both have signed it and your lawyer was on the phone while you discussed it with BD, the only thing he can do to change it is take you back to court.

But, I could be wrong. I haven't had to deal with this so I'm not sure, but hopefully he will just shut up and be happy.

I'm pretty sure that once it's been signed, there is nothing they can do except try to go back to court later. But your lawyer should be fine to turn it in, and it's legally binding until/unless changes are approved by both parties.

This is what I'm thinking. I'm just wondering if him and his lawyer show up tomorrow (I can't because I was just told today that he didn't approve and have noone to watch the kids I sit) and him and his lawyer say they no longer agree or he didn't know what he was singing blah blah that the magistrate or judge will be like ok or something.

I'm pretty sure that not understanding what you're signing isn't a valid excuse to get out of a legal contract. Sort of like you can't get out of legal trouble for not knowing a law

Yeah that's stupid. And I'm pretty sure a judge would say something along the lines of "You shouldn't have signed it if you didn't understand it you dumbass."

So now that him and his lawyer know that there's basically nothing they can do about it. They've said go ahead and turn it in. Now they're trying to say that my lawyer was unethical and talk to BD which is a LIE. My lawyer NEVER talked to BD, I had him on the phone when I was at BDs because I asked him what I should do if he wont sign them and he said there was nothing I could do and his lawyer was the one who wrote up the papers and whatnot. BD signed them anyways, without persuasion from my lawyer or anything shifty like that. It's total BS, they're just pissed that THEY screwed up!
