I had one that was really, really good BUT...I lost it!...so, I remember all of the ingredients but I don't recall how much of what...it was thinly sliced steak, beef broth, sour cream, onions, flour, butter, and canned mushrooms..does anyone have a recipe that calls for all this? if you could totally give me the recipe that would be BEYOND amazing!!

Mine calls for ground hamburger which I'm sure could be substituted and fresh mushrooms instead of canned...

yeah, I usually sub the canned mushrooms with fresh because canned mushrooms sounds gross.
BUT...if it's similar to all the things I put in my post could you please let me have the recipe?

I also have one that calls for ground beef, but have seen the exact same recipe with sliced. You brown the beef with onions. I normally do a full onion at least, but my daughter loves onions. Once the beef and onions are cooked you add butter, flour and pepper to create a roug ( I think thats the spelling) once disolved add a can of mushroom soup, a can of mushrooms and a little bit of water heat thoroughly. remove from heat and add a cup of sour cream it is amazing.

1/2 cup minced onion, 1 clove garlic, 1/4 cup butter, 1 pound ground beef, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1 pound sliced mushrooms, 10-3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup, 1 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons parsley, 12 ounce package wide egg noodles (cooked)

Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms; cook for 5 minutes. Stir in soup; simmer 10 additional minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley and mix in noodles.

We serve ours with fresh french bread and a side salad :)

No problem! My hubby doesn't like a ton of mushrooms so I usually use half what the recipe calls for.
