Early labor took hours upon hours, real labor was about 16 hours.

Oh hunny, you are very right I was very ignorant going into that hospital and I didn't read up on anything about birth and what I wanted going in there. So in a way I deserved what I got... But I defiantly learned my lesson and was a lot more smarter when my 2nd one came in to the world.

It really is heart breaking and I thought I was educated enough to make my decisions. But they run all over you.

That and their powered by money or at least most doctors are... not all of course! But I prefer Lady doctors now because they have a better idea what your going through then the dudes.

I had a male Dr for the firs 32 weeks and I had asked about the umbilical cord being around his neck and the risks and he said "If he dies it is Gods decision" and it pissed me off because the tone was just nasty. Like I was another number to add to his tally.

:shock: What the hell.... Oh no no no! See men doctors are just Jerks! (not all lol), But most! You had every right to be pissed off that was a terrible thing to say to a mother who is concerned for her child's safety! Did you change doctors?

I did! The PA I went to was wonderful. I liked her and she understood my work conditions and let me take leave early.

See and this is why Woman are better then Men lol. Well defiantly good for you for getting out of that situation because if he was starting that crap your first visit... can you imagine how he would act toward you when giving birth? doctors like him shouldn't be doctors....

I agree. I am not trying to be like this but I have a particularly difficult time liking Asian Drs because they kinda have that attitude that they are better than you. And they are so money driven.
